PRESS RELEASE 4/13/2010 - TAMPA, FLORIDA

The one-stop site for planning everyday social events just got better! Lunchwalla today added movies, concerts, sporting events and local activities to its beta Web site and service to make organizing fun with friends, family and coworkers even easier. Now with Lunchwalla, you can do more -- organize dinner and a movie, drinks and a concert, a night at the ball park, outdoor activities and more with just a couple of clicks.

  • Hotly anticipating the premiere of Sex and the City 2 or Iron Man 2 next month? With Lunchwalla's extensive list of establishments and its partnership with Tribune Media Services, you can now see the movie trailer, search for movie times, pick nearby martini bars and invite your friends to vote on all the details for this girls' night out. Lunchwalla even allows you to purchase tickets via Fandango.
  • Lunchwalla has also added concerts to its catalog. Whether it's Lady Gaga's Monster Ball tour, Taylor Swift's Fearless tour or the Kings of Leon summer tour, Lunchwalla has all the music events you want to see. With the voting function, you can invite your friends to the hottest shows and have them design their own spring and summer concert series. Once you've decided what you'd like to see, Lunchwalla helps you purchase tickets to the shows through its partnership with Zvents and Ticketmaster.
  • Plan a get together to cheer on your local sports team with Lunchwalla. The site now includes listings of all local professional, college and amateur sporting events-everything from Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League to college football and the Ultimate Fighting Championship. You can search for games, invite friends to vote and purchase tickets through the site via StubHub, RazorGator and others.
  • No plans this weekend? Lunchwalla instantly lists events in your area through its partnership with Zvents. With a Lunchwalla profile, you can see what's happening by searching through categories - find community performances, comedy shows, fundraisers, arts in the park, all by simply logging in. Traveling to a new city or town? Change the default location and plan your activities.
  • For the outdoorsy type, Lunchwalla has included nature activities in your area. Invite your friends to a hike through area trails, a weekend of camping or a day of bird watching, and let them vote on the al fresco event they'd enjoy.
  • Lunchwalla still includes countless bars and restaurants so you can organize everyday social events like breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. With Yelp reviews and OpenTable® menus and reservations, Lunchwalla makes planning easy, whether it's watching the big game at the local pub or Friday lunch with coworkers.
  • Lunchwalla's ability to let your friends vote on restaurants, bars, movies, concerts, sports and other events means you don't have the headache of email chains, text messages or back-and-forth phone calls. You pick the options and Lunchwalla does all the work.
  • Lunchwalla's partnership with Tribune Media Services and Zvents means that consumers can access the biggest repositories of movie and event listings, and the ability to purchase tickets, all from one site.
